LEARNING to make a difference

10 Years!!

10 Years!!!

Dear Parents/Carers,

I can't believe how time has flown since I joined St. Paul's as Deputy Headteacher in March 2009! At the time I joined, the school had around 140 pupils, it was in special measures and it was certainly a difficult period in our schools' history. Within 12 months the school was out of special measures, OFSTED came back in 2011 and judged the school to be 'Good'. I became the Acting Headteacher in September 2011 and was appointed as Headteacher in March 2012. In March 2016 the school was judged again to be 'Good' by OFSTED and to be Outstanding in the November Ofsted SIAMS inspection.

This year we have made it to the top of the Salford Primary School league table for progress and we're in the top 3% of all schools nationally for progress in Reading, Writing and Maths at KS2.

St. Paul's school is firmly in my heart as we have grown together over the last ten years to be the amazing school that it is now with its 261 fabulous pupils and their families. Many parents have been there throughout my 10 year journey and some pupils have now had children of their own.

I feel privileged in continuing to lead our school and I tell everybody how fabulous the staff, parents, pupils and their families are at every opportunity. I look forward with excitement to the next ten years here at St. Paul's, welcoming more and more people into our school family!

Thank you for all your support over the last ten year and long may it continue.

Mrs J Rowley

Headteacher
