Our English Learning
In Nursery we take part in English sessions daily.
We follow the Little Wandle Love of Reading Scheme. This gives the children opportunities to read and engage with high quality texts throughout the year. We focus on one book for two weeks; this enables us to engage with the text, develop language opportunities and connect our book to our provision within the classroom. We connect the book through nursery rhymes, action songs and poems.
We also have story time each day where the children listen to a story related to our topic.
