Our favourite snapshots from Spring term:

WORLD BOOK DAY 2024

We had a fabulous day reading our chosen class book called 'The Secret of Black Rock' written by Joe Todd-Stanton!

Lots of the Year 2 children dressed up as a character from the book and many dressed up as a character from their favourite book.

Anansi the Spider

We loved reading Anansi the Spider and writing our own folk tale in Spring term!

Here is our fabulous Anansi class display!

Here is our showstopper corridor display showcasing our fantastic folk tales inspired by the book Anansi the Spider!

Bug experience for Science Week!

A visitor came into our school and taught us lots of fun and interesting facts about insects.

We learnt about their natural habitats!

We even got to hold a baby mouse too!

NSPCC Number Day

We enjoyed taking part in some fun filled maths activities with our parents!

Knowsley Safari Park trip

We enjoyed watching the sea lion show!

We were all excited to watch the birds or prey performance although we were cold!!

The Great Fire of London

The children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about what caused The Great Fire and how it spread so quickly.

In a History lesson, we took on the role of newspaper reporters reporting on why the fire spread so quickly... take a look!
