LEARNING to make a difference

Trips and Learn and Peforms

We were lucky to be invited to the Lowry Academy to watch some amazing experiments to celebrate Science Week.

We loved watching the experiments and listening to how mixing different chemicals can cause big reactions and explosions!

Not only that, this week we got to explore the creatures in our natural environment by looking at creepy crawlies!

We loved learning about the different creatures and the environment that they live in.

Our learn and perform this half term was all about space!

Here are some of the photos from our performance.

"I don't know which planet is my favourite!"                                              "I think we can help!"

"One day, Christopher Columbus sailed all around the world!"             Neil Armstrong went to space, "one small step for man, one giant leap                                                                                                                                                       for mankind."

"Mercury has lots of Craters!"                                           "Venus is named after the Goddess of love!"

"Mars' moons are called Phobos and Deimos!"

"Jupiter is the heaviest planet!"

"Saturn has at least 150 moons!"

"Uranus rotates on its side!"

"Neptune is the furthest planet from the sun!"

                          "Earth is 71% water!"

We loved performing all about space and we learnt so much!

This term we visited:

We had a fantastic time and got to explore the planetarium and point out the constellations!

Challenge: Can you name any of the constellations?

We had a super fun day learning all about robots!

We worked together to make our very own robots and programmed them so they could move around our classroom.
