This half term term we became employees of United Utilities and looked at how we could clean water.
We found out that decanting, sieving and filtering are three ways that you can separate materials.
Can you remember what method of separating works best for different mixtures?
We also looked at which materials create a solution.
A solution is where a solid dissolves into a liquid.
When it dissolves, you can no longer see the solid.
Our learning has been out of this world!
We have been creating the Moon Phases using Oreos!
The Moon cycle is 28 days and completes this cycle as it orbit the Earth.
