The Vikings
This half term, our overall focus is History.
We are learning:
- To know what life was like during Anglo-Saxon times.
- To know the events that happened during the first Viking invasion.
- To know how Danelaw was created.
- To know how Athelstan became the first king of England.
- To know how a Danish king became the King of England.
- To know who Edward the Confessor was.
- To know how his death led to the Battle of Hastings in 1066.
