Languages day 2024
At St Paul’s we celebrate languages day throughout our school. We celebrate this day by learning some new words, key vocabulary from the language and an artist from that country where the language is mainly spoken. Reception learnt all about England. We also learnt of an artist from England, who is English and was born in London, who is known as a British sculpture. His name is Antony Gormley! We looked at Antony’s work and what he created, which was sculptures. We then replicated this in class using clay, and let the children’s imaginations run wild!
