This week remember to complete Week 3 of your plant diary. has it grown? How tall is it? What does it look like now? ~ Draw a picture of it and remember to measure it.
Here is the link to a nice story called ‘Plants Can’t Sit Still’ by Rebecca E. Hirsch.
This week we are learning about flowers we find in gardens.
* Flowers that grow in gardens are planted there by people.
* They are watered when the rain falls and by the garden owners using watering cans or hoses.
* People look after them.
Here are some pictures of some garden flowers that are growing in my garden. You might see some like these in your garden or gardens near where you live when you are out for walks with your grown-ups.
This week I would like you to draw a beautiful picture of a garden and add in some flowers that you like or have seen on some of your walks. If you remember the name of the flowers then you can add the names on the picture.
This is a picture of a garden Ella drew last week with roses.
