Here is an online game where you can spot the /igh/ words:
Make your own games:
If you have a whiteboard pen, lego or megablocks you could add letters and diagraphs to the front of them so you and your child can literally ‘build’ words like in the photograph.
If you have plastic balls for a ball pit you can write words with the particular sounds we’re learning and your child can find them amongst the others then read the words, grouping them by their spelling.
There are also some ready-made tasks to print and complete if you’d like them.
Year 1 phonics task (igh / ie)
Sort the words into igh and ie, if you can print them out, cut and stick them. If you do not have access to a printer write the words into two columns.
