Ideas to help you:
Make your own game:
Make a boardgame on a piece of paper/whiteboard/paving slab (anything you can write on will do).
Split the paper into 6 rows and 6 columns. In the first column, write the numbers 1-6 and in all of the other spaces add words with either the ee or ea spelling (some can be repeated).
Using some counters (or anything you can find to cover the words, roll a die and choose a word from that row to read. Once read, cover the word. The first person with a complete row is the winner.
Outdoors or around the house:
Write some ‘ee’ and ‘ea’ on pieces of paper and stick them up around the house. See how any you can collect. Once you have collected them altogether, make a list of them by sorting them into their spelling pattern.
There are also some ready-made tasks to print and complete if you’d like them.
