Week 10 Maths Tasks
Task 1: To know how to use and apply knowledge of my times tables.
Complete the multiplication wheels by multiplying the numbers by the number in the middle.
Task 2: To know how to solve problems involving a written method for division.
Use the method that you have been practicing to solve these problems. Use the examples from week 8 to help you.
Task 3: To know how to divide with remainders.
We can also divide numbers that are not wholly divisible using the bus stop method. For example 11 is not wholly divisible by 5. 11 divided by 5 is 2 remainder 1. When we use the bus stop method to divide numbers with remainders it will look like this:
Example: 564 ÷ 8 = 71 r1
