Tuesday 19th January
Have a think about the questions on the slide below - you do not have to write down your answers.
Now we are going to be doing a little investigation!
We are going to make some predictions.
'What time of day is it in one place in comparison to another?'
Print or draw the table below.
For our first task we are only going to fill in the PREDICTION row.
If it is 12pm (midday) in the UK, in what country:
1. Is the sun rising?
2. Is the sun setting?
3. It is night time?
Watch my video below to see how I have used my globe to fill in this section and then have a go yourselves.
If you do not have a globe at home use this link to an interactive globe!

How can we check if our predictions are correct?
Where would we get this information from?
BY USING A 'TIME ZONE MAP'
Watch the video below to see my explanation of how to use the time zone map!

Now we know how to use a time zone map, we can fill in the final two columns of our 'predictions table'.
Here's a video of me completing the last two rows using the time zone map.
Have a go at completing your table!
Did you do better than me?????
