LEARNING to make a difference

Spelling

Monday and Tuesday

Today we are going to look at a spelling rule for the sound /l/ at the end of words.

We spell this with ‘le’ when the /l/ sound follows a consonant.

(Remember vowels are a, e,i o, u and all the other letters are consonants.)

Practise spelling these words using ‘look, say, write and check’.
