This half term, our overall focus is History.

We are learning:

• To know the events that happened during the first Viking invasion.
• To know how Danelaw was created.
• To know how Athelstan became the first king of England.
• To know how a Danish king became the King of England.
• To know who Edward the Confessor was.
• To know how his death led to the Battle of Hastings in 1066.
