    ALTRU Drama 'Play in a Day' - Stone Age

    PE

    In PE this term, we are all becoming gymnasts!

    Science

    We began our topic on rocks and fossils by creating a worm world to explore the different layers beneath our feet and discover what can be found underground!

    We then explored different types of rocks, learning about their different properties.

    We explored different fossils.

    English 

    We started our first unit of English by taking part in a WOW lesson. Clues were left for the children to guess the class text! Take a look...

    Trip to Tatton Park

    We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Tatton Park, where we learnt more about life from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. We had a go at making houses using wattle and daub, explored different types of flint that were used to make tools and weapons, and learnt about the food that Stone Age people hunted and gathered to survive. We even learnt how to make a fire!
