Our first activity of the day was to find flags around the school playgrounds and note down their letters.
We then had to unscramble the letters to make a word.
We loved running around to find the flags and enjoyed the challenge of making the word.
It was a very close competition and lots knew the word, but struggled to get the letters in the write order.
The letters were:
N L I T A L P O S E O T G O
The mystery word was:
PALEONTOLOGIST
Once back in class, we then worked out that a paleontologist was a type of scientist who studied life forms from previous periods by looking at fossils.
We were then all excited to become one for the day.
