World Book Day 2016
Once again we are celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March. We will be starting the day off with a Reading Breakfast and invite all our Parents/Carers of pupils in Y1 to Y6 to come along and share some quality time reading with our pupils. This year it is the staff at St. Paul’s who will be dressing up as their favourite book character. To make this year’s event different we have bought every pupil in the school a T-shirt which they will decorate throughout the day with their favourite book character. Children will be reading with pupils in different classes and there will be an exciting book related assembly as well for our pupils.
Finally all children will receive a special World Book Day Book.
Nursery and Reception are inviting their parents into the Early Years between 9.00 and 10.00 am on 3rd March to decorate their children’s T-shirts alongside them.
Y1 will be leading our Mother’s Day Assembly on Friday 4th March. All Year 1 parents are invited to come in share our celebration with the children from 9.00am. Nursery & Reception parents are invited in at 2.30 pm the same day for tea and cake to celebrate Mother’s Day.
