All numbers are made of digits. These are the digits 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9.
We have looked at creating 2 and 3 digit numbers using the place value chart.
Today we will practice reading and writing 2 and 3 digit numbers.
For example, 37 is a 2 digit number. You would write them in words as you would say them. "Thirty seven".

For 3 digit numbers you write the hundreds, then "and", then the tens and the ones
For example: 437 would be written like four hundred and thirty seven.
